A new three-story skilled care wing added to an existing
facility and the complete remodeling of the existing
facility. With the assistance of the owner, architect
and engineers, the inconvenience to the owner and
the residents was kept to a minimum.
Grandview
Health Care Center, Washington, MO
This new 60-bed nursing home was designed to include
an ice cream shop, gift shop and an elaborate dining
room with extensive finishes to create a homey atmosphere
in an institutional environment. In addition to the
large commercial kitchen, there are therapy rooms,
exercise areas and lounge areas.
John
C. Murphy Health Center, Berkeley, MO
A major addition to and renovation of the existing
clinic for the St. Louis County Department of Health,
including the construction of the new St. Louis County
Morgue and Medical Examiner's office.
The
Memorial Home
An addition to the existing facility in the City of
St. Louis, on Grand at Magnolia Avenues. Two new three-story
skilled care wings were attached to an existing mansion
built in the 1860's. Part of the existing nursing home
was demolished and replaced with one of the new three-
story additions. The mansion and kitchen were renovated.

A new 120-bed skilled care facility for St. Joseph
Hill Infirmary, operated by the Franciscan Brothers.
Price Memorial is a one-story building with all private
rooms.

Theresa's at South Gate Care Center
One-story building consisting of a new 120- bed nursing
home on Telegraph Road in South St. Louis County, operated
by Incarnate Word Hospital.

Saint
Louis Grand Developmental Disabilities Treatment Center
This major renovation and addition to the treatment
center for the State of Missouri is located on Grand
Avenue in the City of St. Louis. The project included
extensive remodeling of an existing two-story building
and a three-story building, and the addition of a
new connecting wing with elevators. L. A. Schaefer
received a letter of commendation from the inspector
for the State of Missouri for this project.
St.
Louis State School and Hospital,
Bellefontaine Neighbors, MO
Two separate facilities were built adjacent to the
existing State School. Added facilities included new
classrooms, therapy/training rooms, observation areas
and a gymnasium. Our project superintendent received
a commendation from from the state inspector for his
excellent coordination of this project.
North
County Eye Center & Surgery, Florissant,
MO
A new medical facility for a group of opthamologists
with examination and testing rooms, a full operating
room and support facilities, an optical department
and doctors' offices.

Medical Building, St. Charles, Mo
This new medical facility for several physicians has
opthamology facilities for examinations and testing,
waiting rooms, doctors' offices and an optical department.
